$10.00 per year and are due in January of each year. The PRA
Dues are used to fund the POLLUX Newsletter, the USSPOLLUX.COM
Web Page, plus postage, phone bills and other computer costs in
our continuous efforts to locate and continue to stay connected
to our POLLUX Shipmates.

The RADISSON HOTEL
BRANSON is our host hotel for the 16 th annual reunion
of the USS POLLUX (AKS-2 & AKS-4). They are proud to be our
host and we know you will have a great time.
Your hospitality room will be open for visiting with your
old shipmates and guests and all functions will take place in that
room unless otherwise noted.
WEDNESDAY – OCTOBER 6, 2010
0900 (9:00 AM) –
2100 (9:00 PM) -. Check
in and greet Shipmates in the Hospitality Room. Hospitality Room
name and location TBA.
1700 (5:00 PM) –
1800 (6:00 PM) – The The RADISSON HOTEL BRANSON will provide a
“WELCOME ABOARD” reception party, which will include hors
d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks. Cake will be served in
honor of those shipmates and guests celebrating “Birthdays and
Anniversaries” since our last reunion.
Dinner on your
own. The Hospitality Room will remain open until approximately
2200 (10:00 PM).
THURSDAY – OCTOBER 7,
2010
COMPLIMENTARY
Continental Breakfast in Hotel Restaurant. HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET
upgrade for an additional $4.00 per person.
Coffee in the Hospitality Room for those who do not want
breakfast.
TOURS:
We do not have any
tours scheduled for this reunion. There are many, many tours and
shows in Branson. You are on your own to schedule group or
individual tours.
Dinner on your
own. The Hospitality Room will remain open until approximately
2200 (10:00 PM).
FRIDAY
– OCTOBER 8, 2010
COMPLIMENTARY
Continental Breakfast in Hotel Restaurant. HOT BREAKFAST BUFFET
upgrade for an additional $4.00 per person.
Coffee in the Hospitality Room for those who do not want to
eat breakfast.
Dinner on your
own. The Hospitality Room will remain open until approximately

SATURDAY – OCTOBER 9,
2010

Coffee in the Hospitality Room for those who do not want to
eat breakfast.
1000 (10:00 AM)
– 1200 (12:00 Noon) – General Business Meeting and “Open
Mike” session. (Shipmates attending their first reunion are
invited to speak and tell us what they have been doing for the
past 30, 40, or 50 years.). The “Open Mike” will then be open
to all our members and attendees. After the Business Meeting and
“Open Mike” session, we will break for some free time and
lunch on your own.
1300 (1:00 PM) –
Gather back in the Hospitality Room for raffle. Don’t forget to
purchase your RAFFLE TICKETS to win a gift from our shipmates and
attendees who we always ask to bring from their hometown, home
state, home country, etc. for the raffle. After the raffle is
over, we will break for more rest and relaxation.
1700 (5:00 PM) –
Gather in Hospitality Room or other designated area for formal
portraits.
1830 (630 PM) –
1900 (7:00 PM) – Pre-Banquet ceremony in Banquet Room with
a cash bar.
1900 (7:00 PM) -
???? - All you can
eat Dinner Buffet in Banquet Room with a cash bar.
SUNDAY – OCTOBER 10,
2010

The Hospitality

We hope all of you have had an enjoyable reunion with your
old shipmates and we pray that you will have a safe trip back home
or other destination. We
look forward to seeing you again at the 17th Annual
Reunion.
Please keep all of our shipmates who have
health problems in your thoughts and prayers.
